The feeders are extremely strong and robust. The plastic used wont go brittle or shatter and it's UV resistant. They are designed to bend and flex under pressure (for the safety of the horse) but wont break.

Our feeders are made from MDPE pipe, which is extremely strong, resistant to corrosion, chemicals, and UV rays. It is also flexible, durable, and can withstand high pressure and temperature variations. The density of MDPE is between 0.926–0.940 g/cm3, and it doesn't shatter like some other plastics.
